This full day combines productivity techniques and tools for a sustainable work situation. Theory is interspersed with practical exercises. The full day is led by two workshop leaders from Finish On Time (an expert in productivity and an expert in stress management).

This course spans one semester and provides participants with a toolbox for increased academic productivity and sustainable work practices. Theory is interspersed with practical exercises and homework between sessions. The toolbox consists of well-proven strategies and techniques. The course is led by one of our academic productivity experts and a licensed psychologist.
Target group: Doctoral students. Course is given on site.
Sustainable work methods
From negative stress to sustainable work methods.
This half-day gives participants access to new approaches and techniques for a sustainable work situation. Theory around stress such as the demand-control-support model is interspersed with practical exercises. The workshop is led by one of our experts in stress management within the academy.
Target groups: PhD students, researchers & supervisors, TA staff. The workshop is given on site or online.
Academic writing
From perfectionism and procrastination to flow.
This full day gives participants access to new approaches and techniques regarding joyful academic writing. Theory and researched techniques are interspersed with practical exercises. The workshop is led by one of our academic writing experts.

The Catalyst Club
Embark on a peer-powered journey toward academic success!
Tailored to suit the distinctive challenges faced by PhD students, this online book club centers around the book Finish on Time by Åsa Burman. We provide you with a friendly forum in the company of fellow PhD students to try the strategies and techniques presented in the book. Join us for one unit (45 minutes) at a time on three different days during the spring semester!

Difficult to keep up with all tasks that all seem to have the same deadline? Do you have several people who are struggling and need support, preferably yesterday? Is it your email inbox that determines your everyday life and eats up your time? We've got strategies for how you can handle all of that—and then some.
We provide new approaches, alternative strategies of action and tangible tools to help you achieve your most important tasks.
Finish on Time has been running workshops for academic staff for under 12 years and for TA staff since 2020. Those who have attended our TA workshops have worked at all levels within the higher education organization and in various administrative roles. The participants have, for example, worked with finance, HR, IT, study administration, study guidance or been a project manager, communicator or grant manager.

Workshops for researchers, advisors and post docs
The doctoral students in our workshops began to wish that their supervisors could also take part in our approaches and techniques. During the last ten years, we have therefore developed and conducted workshops for supervisors with a dual purpose: on the one hand to support doctoral students with the work process and on the other hand to apply the methods to their own work situation.
We also hold workshops in academic productivity and sustainable working methods as well as on academic writing for other academic staff in postdoctoral employment, e.g. postdocs, researchers, lecturers and assistant lecturers. The purpose is to provide approaches and tangible tools for you to find your direction—and stick with it.
We are well acquainted with your work situation, which is often characterized by several parallel projects that all seem to have the same degree of importance and the same deadline. How should one, as a senior researcher, find time for teaching, supervision, applying for funds, administration – and one's own (meritorious) research?
